I am very, very easily distracted by anything on the internet when I’m trying to do my work. I can hardly concentrate on what I’m doing for 30 seconds before I switch to something (anything, really) on the web. But I can’t just unplug the cable, because I often need certain websites in order to work. So what I really need is a program that can block all websites except a few that I specify. Does anyone know any good free ones?

There are a few websites that I tend to gget distracted from my work on and I want to block them so I am reminded when I try to see them that I need to do my homework and not waste time. My issue is, I am the computer administrator for my laptop and there are no other accounts. I don’t want to create a whole other account but is there another way I can block sites?
I need to block the myspace page on my computer. Because I got in trouble for using it. Now it has to be blocked. My mom was suppost too. But I want to do it to make the pain go quicker and easier. And to last the lexture from my mother.

How do I block my computer from inappropiate websites on the computer? What is a good way to do this and is this free What is a good way to block suggestive sites? What do you reccomend? What is the easiest way to do this?
