ok i have a little sister and she has acess to wide variety of websites to go to right but i need your help to block certain webistes but i dont know how stupid that i cant lol so please help and plus i need block websites that can harm my computer too
How do I block my computer from inappropiate websites on the computer? What is a good way to do this and is this free What is a good way to block suggestive sites? What do you reccomend? What is the easiest way to do this?
i need to know how websites block people from signing up under new email addresses and new usernames??
I followed these steps:
TOOLS, INTERNET OPTIONS, PRIVACY, SITES, TYPED WEBSITES, BLOCK, OK. I dont want to enable the CONTENT because then it will block everything.
Im looking for a program that can block sites. i dont want it to run locally on each computer. i was thinking there might a certain proxy i could install and have all the connections go through that server. Just think of it as the computers students have at school. When they go on something their not meant to be on they get a message saying the page is blocked. im not looking for any cheap or dodgy downloads.
We live in an apartment complex and I want to block websites like youtube.com etc. Some users hog bandwidth. I have a linksys router wrt54g. I have blocked nntp and telnet and youtube. What else do you recommend? I can block ports, protocols and websites and even keyword blocking. Thanks.
